Dear friends, first of all, I want to thank you all for joining us in this event. Now I call for your help to build up the program of the meeting. So far we have two minicourses scheduled, one with an Introduction to Cryptology, given by Prof. Henk van Tilborg, and one about Coding Theory (focussing specially on open problems and on applications), by Prof. Øyvind Ytrehus. You are all invited to participate giving talks. The original idea is that the masters can give survey talks of about 40 minutes, on the subject each one considers more appropiate. On the other hand, the doctoral students that are joining us can give more specific talks on their recent works. If would be interesting if this could become a meeting point for discussions, so those talks don't necessarily have to correspond with works that are already completely finished, but also with those that are being developed at the moment. That was the original idea, but if you have other suggestions we are open to discuss them and to make them fit in the program. (Of course nobody should feel forced to give a talk, either.) We don't want to put deadlines for abstract submission, you can enjoy those in any other congress, but we need you to give us, as soon as possible, a brief description of the subject you plan to talk about, just to coordinate everything, build the program, and avoid problems like two people wanting to talk about exactly the same subject. I'm sorry that I cannot send this mail directly to everybody, but I don't have some of the e-mail addresses, I don't know the addresses of some of the people that have been 'introduced' by some of you, so you should check if the address of your friends and students are in the list above and if not, please forward this message to them. Thank you again for your cooperation. Best regards Angela Barbero
