A Filippov sliding vector field on a codimension 2 surface. Theoretical justifications

Abstract
We consider sliding motion on a codimension 2 discontinuity surface $\Sigma$. We characterize the case of $\Sigma$ being attractive in finite time upon sliding and we justify, under this assumption, the use of a given Filippov vector field on $\Sigma$.
